On May 12, 2012, our company, just like hundreds of others, participated in Day of Foster.ly. Wow! It was an impressive event filled with great speakers, networking, collaboration, fun and food! We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be involved and tip our hat to Adam Zuckerman and the many volunteers who produced such a well orchestrated event. I believe the huge turnout was a testament to the Foster.ly mission, and the results will be felt for years to come. There is no doubt in my mind that our region will continue to grow economically as more entrepreneurs start businesses, grow and create jobs.
In an effort to join Foster.ly in facilitating entrepreneurship in DC, Maryland & Virginia, we offered all event attendees a free Premium touchdownSPACE membership. In addition, we held a drawing in which 4 entrepreneurs who attended Day of Foster.ly were randomly selected to win free services from our flexible workspace network.
Here are our winners:

“As a sole business owner, while working from a home office has its advantages, having the ability to work in a private office when I need to is invaluable. For my business, A Little Nudge, where I help people with all aspects of online dating, I have clients all over the metro DC area. It will be nice to have the ability to meet with clients a bit closer to their work or home and then go into the “office” afterwards without having to commute back to downtown DC, where I live.”

“DiversiTech’s regional work has the team bouncing between Baltimore and DC. The virtual office service will enable the organization to establish a DC presence.”

“We plan to relocate our business from the Hampton Roads area to northern VA in the next few months and the virtual office will help make that transition smoother. Once we have successfully relocated, the flexibility that Touchdown Spaces provides will be invaluable as we hire staff and expand.”
